The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) is hosting a series of community consultation exhibitions regarding proposals for land within its ownership at Dundas Street, Fettes Row, Eyre Terrace and Royal Crescent, Edinburgh. This follows the first and second public events which took place in September and November 2015.
RBS has announced plans to close its existing offices at Dundas Street/Fettes Row and relocate staff to its headquarters at Gogarburn, Edinburgh. RBS is therefore proposing the redevelopment of the site for residential led mixed use development.
The third and final drop-in public consultation exhibition is being held on Thursday 25 February at Broughton St Mary’s Parish Church, 12 Bellevue Crescent, Edinburgh, EH3 6NE between 3pm and 8pm.
A report on street cleansing, waste collections, and recycling was discussed at the meeting of New Town & Broughton Community Council on 8th February. The final report, with some changes and additions suggested during the meeting, can be seen here.
The Edinburgh Academy are developing a Master plan to upgrade the Senior School campus at 42 Henderson Row. A public exhibition will be held of the proposed master plan on Saturday 13th February between 10am and 2pm in the Main Hall at the Senior School campus at 42 Henderson Row. Residents are welcome to attend.
