The New and Broughton Community Council would like to object to the granting of these provisional licences in an area of overprovision.

We are especially concerned about the granting of unspecific licences, where the nature of the premises is generic with no business name associated with it.

However, we also feel that to grant a licence to premises in an area of overprovision, those premises need to demonstrate explicitly why that licence should be granted.

Yours faithfully

Jonathan Finn, Licensing Convenor
