East London Street Petition Now Live

East London Street residents have submitted a petition to Edinburgh Council which can now be accessed at the Council website using the following link – East London Street Petition. In the petition, the residents are highlighting the impact on them of the high traffic levels that they are experiencing 24 hours a day. They are also seeking specific actions from the Council to address these issues in both the short term and longer term. This issue has been widely discussed at NTBCC meetings and does not just affect East London Street residents but many others living in New Town streets that have been designated as diversion routes for the Trams project and other construction projects in the city centre.
