At the CEC transport and environment meeting on 2 April, two of the ‘local traffic improvement’ items proposed for NTBCC’s area were approved. These items are

• Carlton Terrace Brae: removal of a small number of parking bays, and build-out of pavement at the junction to provide a safer crossing for pedestrians

• Rodney Street/Broughton Road: Junction review and potential buildouts

It has been pointed out that NTBCC’s area gets two out of only 18 funded items. A list of these items is on pages 116-117 of the TEC agenda.
