NTBCC has recently made two representations to the City of Edinburgh Council’s Planning & Building Standards. Details of the full representations can be found in the links below:
- The George Street proposals have been outlined in a previous post.
- In Eyre Terrace, the Royal Bank of Scotland has submitted concurrent Planning applications:
- The first seeks to demolish two buildings (Ref. 14/01126/CON).
- The second seeks permission in principle for redevelopment including demolition works and new buildings to provide: mixed use development comprising retail (Class 1); Financial, professional and other Services (Class 2); Food and Drink (Class 3); Business (Class 4); Hotels (Class 7); Residential Institutions (Class 8); and Residential (Class 9 & Sui Generis); car parking, access and other associated works; detailed approval of siting and maximum height of principal building blocks, points of vehicular and pedestrian access and egress.
