You can report such breaches via this Edinburgh Council webform. If you are unsure whether a property has permission for work being carried out you can check using CEC’s online planning service.

CEC will require the following information when breaches are reported, but will not pass on your contact details:

• Your contact details
• The address where you believe there has been a breach
• The date you believe the breach began
• Information about why you believe a breach has occurred.
